Arne Kappen grew up in Berlin, surrounded by Techno culture, clubs and festivals.
His entry into music production started late and he had to share his passion for electronic music with his other passion, informatics. Making music started through the detour of building a DJ controller that never worked. Arne skipped the whole idea of DJing and went straight to buying drum machines and synthesizers, now playing live techno with modulars.
First he played as one part of the duo Anoserica, now he also produces Techno as a solo artist – always driven by curiosity and the will to understand how the music and audio technology works. Arne Kappen’s motivation has always been to experience music and techno culture in clubs and at festivals, to explore the origins and evolution of it all, and ultimately to contribute his own part to the whole.
